WORKSHOP RUGS
From the point of their material,
technique, composition workshop rugs differ from the tribal and village
rugs. These rugs are woven under the supervision of a master weaver who
prepares the designs on the milimetric paper. Having a great density of
knots, workshop rugs, besides the geometric designs of tribal rugs, offer
very elaborate and sophisticated patters. Fineness and density of knot,
quality of material, symmetrical balance of the design gains importance.
