Kula Praying Rugs

Kula Praying Rugs are easily recognized by their long, narrow geometrical niches. The field is spread with small-stylized flowers, which are gathered sometimes to form a tree of life. The tree of life is often flanked two ribbons like columns. Ottoman Flowers Tulips, carnation and are known as Ottoman flowers and widely used in the borders and main field. Roses, pomegranate, and imaginary flowers follow these. Carnation often shown open or closed form and having frontal or profile view have always-red color. Carnations mostly appear in the Gordes, Demirci, and Kirstein Carpets. They are arranged in bouquets or as lined along the internal edge of the mishap. Tulips Tulips are used widely on the Ladik Rugs and often mistaken by the westerners as lilies.
