| Bandırma Carpets Although Bandirma does not have long tradition of carpet weaving, it merits some mention because of its 19th century productions just imitating the antique Gordes. Bandirmas have a reversed V and two small ribbons like columns. A sacred lamb hangs in the center of the vault. Colors of those Bandirma rugs have pale colors without contrast.
